Francois Nambajimana is a native of Rwanda in central Africa.
He was a renowned tour guide and expert on the natural places and
animals of his native country and shared his knowledge with the many
tourists which he guided until his departure for the United States

Sigorney Weaver, in her role as Ms. Fossey in the movie
Gorillas in the Mist filmed in Rwanda in the late 80's.
Francois guided tourists to other parks in Rwanda also.
These included Akagera Park, the home of the
legendary elephant, MUTWARE.
Francois now lives in Paw Paw, Michigan with his family.

ABOUT THE ELEPHANT
The elephant, MUTWARE, was owned by a private individual as
a youngster. When he became too big for the owner, he was released
into Akagera Park. This is when Francois first met him. He has
survived all the civil strife in the area and still lives in Akagera Park.
He is known around the world because of the many tourists
that come to see him each year. According to his web site
(Rwanda/Mutware.com), 25,000 tourists come to see the elephant in
a year. You can check the latest on MUTWARE on the internet.
